Technical Compliance
To assist with Chain of Responsibility compliance Gorlas Transport currently utilizes Navman Teletrac in all our trucks. This application provides both ourselves and our customers the following information when required;
- GPS tracking - Through geofencing we can manage site performance calculating turnaround times etc. GPS also ensures driver efficiency of route taken and driver adherence to safe driving techniques.
- Fatigue Management including EWD's (electronic work diary's), advising drivers of required upcoming rest breaks and reporting of all violations in live time.
- Mass Management records are maintained and reported on.
- Maintenance Management records. This includes scheduled maintenance based on kilometers travelled or hours utilized.
- Defective equipment reporting including driver prestart checks.
